About Laura.
Brave Minds Coaching Founder
Laura is an ICF, ACC, Certified Pediatric Mental Health Coach. She has extensive experience working with children and families for over 15 years both domestically and internationally in various capacities in the mental health field. She has worked with hundreds of children and families to build confidence, manage emotions, and restore connection at home. Laura strives to help each individual, child, and family find healing and happiness again. Often parents come to Laura exhausted and burnt out. Laura offers a unique, compassionate and judgement free space to help you feel supported and heard, and most importantly she offers hope through her skills, tools and experience when situations feel hopeless.
Outside of coaching, Laura enjoys staying active and spending time with friends and family. She feels most at peace in the outdoors, especially in the mountains, surrounded by fresh air and open skies. Time in nature helps her recharge and reflects the balance and calm she brings into her work with children and families.
What we do.
At Brave Minds Coaching, we believe every child and family has the potential to thrive. Sometimes they just need help finding it. Through compassionate and creative coaching, we guide parents to help children and adolescents think differently, build self-awareness, and understand the powerful connection between their thoughts, actions, and emotions.
Led by Laura, an ICF, ACC Certified Pediatric Mental Health Coach with over 15 years of experience in pediatric mental health, specializing in supporting children, teens, and families, Brave Minds Coaching helps families navigate challenges, tap into their inner resilience, and take meaningful steps toward feeling better. Whether it’s managing big emotions, learning self-regulation skills, building self-esteem, or growing in self-awareness, our mission is to empower the next generation to face life with courage, clarity, and confidence.
Our Mission.
Brave Minds Coaching exists to support parents navigating the emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges of their children by providing steady, informed, and compassionate guidance. We believe that when parents feel supported, regulated, and confident, children are more likely to feel safe, understood, and capable of growth. By strengthening the parent’s clarity, emotional regulation, and ability to respond intentionally, we help create calmer family systems where children can build resilience, emotional awareness, and lasting skills for everyday life.
